"Our BUCS season so far has been very successful with our biggest win being 10-0 against Bristol Women's 3rds in the Women's Western Conference Cup which sees us play Plymouth 1sts in the Quater Finals! We're currently second in the league after playing many of our games away we're excited to play some home games in the new year where our supporters can watch. We've been playing some amazing football despite multiple injuries in our squad the girls have fought some tough battles against good teams and come out on top!" - Menna Jones (Captain)

Men’s Hockey

Men’s Hockey has also impressed this term, fighting through a challenging fixture list. With 6 matches played and only 2 losses, the team is proving to be a force to reckon with in their league. Their ability to adapt and rise to the occasion has been a hallmark of their performances so far. Whether it’s clinical penalty corners or robust defending, Men’s Hockey has plenty to build on heading into the new year.

"Aber men’s hockey performed well as a team this semester winning 4 games with great performances from both returning players and newcomers. Training sessions have proven to be instrumental in building team cohesive and confidence on difficult pitches, with the newer players progressing well. We hope to continue this in to next semester while also focusing on recruiting more people into the team." - Tom Hampden Smith (Club Secretary)

Men’s Volleyball

On the court, Men’s Volleyball has delivered some thrilling displays. They’ve matched Men’s Hockey’s record of 6 games played and 2 losses, highlighting their competitive spirit. Each match has brought moments of brilliance, from precision serves to unyielding blocks, demonstrating the depth and determination within the squad. With momentum on their side, the team looks set for even greater achievements in 2025.

"I'm incredibly happy with the team this season. Both in training and in our game the performances of every player has been outstanding. Its amazing to be able to see the team working together, and developing the way that they have been. Even after experiencing a tough loss, the team came together to figure out the best way to fix our mistakes and pulled us back into a winning form to close out the year. Id especially like to shout out Amin, Henry, Kieran, Iker and Peter for their consistent performances in BUCs over the semester. Im excited to continue to prove that we are a high level team and hopefully keep this form going into next semester." - Alan Atkins (President & Player Coach)
